Mr. Weyer, a native of Kentucky, is a graduate of Emory University where he received his Bachelor of Arts degree in English in 2002, a Master of Theological Studies in 2010, and a Juris Doctor 2010. While attending law school, Mr. Weyer was the Executive Administrative Editor of the Emory International Law Review, president of the Emory Public Interest Committee, and recipient of a Woodruff Fellowship.

With his background in theology, he is especially committed to helping clients create end-of-life plans that incorporate their religious beliefs. In late 2018, Mr. Weyer decided to join the law firm of Cohen & Caproni in order to further expand his capabilities for advising clients in the areas of estate planning and estate administration.

Mr. Weyer is a member of the bar in Georgia and New York. He is also a member of the Fiduciary Law section of the State Bar of Georgia, the Probate and Estate Planning section of the Atlanta Bar Association, and the Emory University Planned Giving Advisory Board. He is a graduate of the Lawyers for Equal Justice incubator, and in 2018 was named a “pro Bono All-Star” in the Georgia Bar Journal.

Mr. Weyer and his wife live near Decatur. He presently serves on the pastoral council at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in the Old Fourth Ward of Atlanta.
